About Us
The World Children’s Fund is a non-profit, charitable organisation whose ultimate purpose is to facilitate caring and sharing of aid to needy, suffering children in crisis situations worldwide. This is accomplished through the World Children's Fund Global Care and Share Network, a proven concept in efficiency and effectiveness that is based on indigenous partnerships.
The WCF Network is a voluntary association of independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisations inspired to help children in distress according to the Seven Rights of a Child Vision Statement of Joseph Lam. Many of the WCF organisations were actually founded and organised by Mr. Lam, who was honoured by Liberty University for his humanitarian work with a PhD before he became 40.
The World Children's Fund raises community awareness of needs around the world through mass communication. It promotes aid to suffering children, their families, and communities – often in urgent times of need which call for a quick, emergency response.
The World Children's Fund rushes aid to help refugees of war or natural disasters such as earthquakes, famines, floods or civil disturbances. When disasters strike, our goal is to be there through assistance given to child care partner agencies on the scene, agencies who are also part of the WCF Global Care and Share Network.
The World Children's Fund will expedite your life-saving donations to rescue precious young lives from hunger, danger, disease and death.
